A New Start

This is my grandson Pranav's birthday gift. He has inducted me to blogging.  Yes, today is officially my 89th birthday.  I do not say i am 89 years old.  Age has a feeling component  and i feel much much younger.  Also, I like Vinobaji's way of looking at life.  He used to say: I am one year old. Does it mean 'i am current'?
Pranav tells me that one aspect of blogging is being current.
What i propose is to share some of my learnings each week.
For example, i learned or relearned last week the following:

1. It is not merely in space research that the last detail, the perfect accuracy matters.

2. The wonder in this world is not that people misunderstand us but that they understand us.

3. Awareness is one thing and alertness is another.  To do the fair thing by ourselves and others, we need alertness.

4. All generalisations are false including this one, someone observed.

5. Choose to get what you like or you will be forced to like what you get.

6. Life has to be thought backwards and lived forwards.

7. It is  a human privilege to learn from one’s ‘mother in law’ a privilege not many exercise.
